Monograph is a project management tool built specifically for architects and engineers. It’s designed to simplify how firms track budgets, manage projects, and make confident decisions, all while keeping their teams aligned and efficient.

Monograph’s marketing strategy, as I understood it, was centered on creating content tailored for AEC industry leaders, including operational leaders, principals, project managers, and accountants tasked with project and financial management decisions.

Leverage best practices in content design to connect with AEC stakeholders through blogs, social media, podcasts, webinars, and video content.

Podcast Production

As part of my role, I contributed to the podcast production process, supporting each stage from planning to distribution:

  • Pre-Production:

    Conducted research to craft engaging questions for webinar guests.

  • Collaboration:

    • A podcast editing team to help refine episodes.

    • A blog production team to support written content creation.

  • Content Creation:

    Designed and produced social media assets to promote the podcast and increase audience engagement.

  • Graphic Design:

    Designed visuals such as charts, graphs, and quotes within the provided template to enhance the readability and aesthetic appeal of the blogs under the guidance of the head brand designer

  • Content Alignment:

    Focused on ensuring the visuals reflected the blog’s tone and supported the educational value of the content.

Re-purposing Content

For each blog post, I typically created three to four carousel slides, each focusing on:

  • Introduction to the Problem:

    Outlining the key issue addressed in the blog.

  • Supporting Statistics:

    Highlighting data to reinforce the problem’s significance.

  • Proposed Solutions:

    Presenting actionable steps or ideas to address the issue.

Content Creation Support

In addition to repurposing content, I contributed to Monograph’s overall content creation efforts by focusing on strategies to enhance performance and engagement. Based on research, I proposed content ideas and strategies in the following areas in support of marketing manager:

  • Competitor Research:

    Conducted research on competitors to help inform and refine content strategies.

  • Brand Messaging:

    Contributed to shaping Monograph’s brand messaging and voice, ensuring alignment with company goals.

    Addressing pain points specific to Monograph’s audience.

As a content producer, I created downloadable stack sheets as free resources for potential clients, integrating them into the marketing strategy.

Section Cut

I contributed to Section Cut, a virtual conference and career fair, by creating engaging visuals and interactive elements that enhanced the event experience:

  • Event Graphics:

    Designed promotional and presentation graphics to support event branding and capture the conference’s theme.

  • Collaborative Community Board:

    Developed an interactive FigJam board inspired by the graphic elements and theme from the brand designer in a form of architectural section cuts and plan drawing from Monograph logo, fostering collaboration and aligning with the event’s concept and familiarity to the AEC industry professionals.
